Trio of Athletes Compete at Kutztown

Kutztown, Pa. (Feb. 20, 2026) - Alvernia Men's and Women's Track and Field had a trio of athletes compete at the Kutztown Golden Bear Invitational on Friday evening.

Ethan Marcin competed in the 55 meter and posted a time of 7.06 seconds. It marked Marcin's first attempt at the 55m.

Samantha Wallace posted a new indoor personal record on the pole vault with a mark of 2.15 meters to take eighth place.

Maria Skulski competed in the weight throw for the first time and hit a MAC qualifying mark of 10.88 meters for a ninth place finish. Skulski also recorded a personal record mark in the shot put with a mark of 9.03 meters.

Alvernia is back in action on Friday, February 27 for day one of the 2026 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Alvernia.

Samantha Wallace - Pole Vault: 2.15 meters, 8th Place (PR)

Maria Skulski - Weight Throw: 10.88 meters, 9th Place
