Golden Wolves Compete at the Fastrack National Invite

Staten Island, N.Y. (February 6, 2026) - Alvernia University competed at the Fastrack National Invite Friday evening at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in men's track and field action. 

Andrew LeClair led the way for the Golden Wolves with a seventh place finish in a field of 36 athletes in the long jump. LeClair posted a personal best mark of 6.24m to take sixth. 

Andrew Simmons, Joseph Washington and Heriberto Camacho all recorded personal best marks on the night. Simmons posted a PR in the 200m with a 23.62 time and Washington followed Simmons with a PR in the 200m as well with a time of 23.97. 

Heriberto Camacho also posted a personal best time in the 400m with a time of 53.69. Camacho bested his previous personal best by nearly three seconds.

  • The Golden Wolves are back in action next Saturday when they travel to the Armory Track and Field Center for the NYU DIII Invitational.
