Freitag, Henry Lead Alvernia at Widener

Chester, Pa. (March 28, 2026) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field posted two top-ten individual finishes on Friday and Saturday at the Widener University Danny Curran Invitational.

Trip Freitag led Alvernia with a second place finish in the javelin with a throw of 55.8 meters for Alvernia's highest finish of the weekend. Spencer Hahn had Alvernia's other top-ten finish of the weekend, taking sixth in the 800m with a time of 1:56.69.

Ryan Dennison posted a personal record time in the 10,000m on Friday night, taking off over 40 seconds on his previous PR with a time of 33:36.22. Both Daniel Kirn and William Dennis posted new PRs in the 100m with times of 11.2 seconds and 12.37 seconds, respectively. Dennis also had a PR in the 200m with a time of 25.93 seconds. 

Heriberto Camacho posted a PR in the 400m with a time of 52.52 seconds, and Quinn Harter rounded out Alvernia's PRs with a mark of 12.15 meters in the triple jump. 

Alvernia is back in action on Wednesday at the York Twilight Invitational.
