Erin Schutt gets all conference

Schutt Named Second Team All-MAC

Reading, Pa. (March 6, 2026) - Alvernia University Women's Ice Hockey's Erin Schutt was named a Second Team All-MAC defender for her performances during the 2025-2026 campaign as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference Friday. 

Schutt, a first year defender, ranked second on Alvernia in points with 15, and ranked third in goals and assists with eight goals and seven assists. Schutt also recorded a +7 plus/minus, netted two unassisted goals and blocked 14 shots. Schutt netted three power play goals which ranked her in a tie for the fourth most in the MAC and her .36 goals per game averaged put her in the top 18 in the conference. As a defender, she recorded multipoint games against Neumann twice, King's and Hood and also helped the Alvernia defense keep shutouts against Stevenson, King's and Hood. 

Haylee Bouchard from Wilkes was named Offensive Player of the Year and Mia Frisoni from Lebanon Valley earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Arcadia's Chloe Makinson was named Rookie of the Year and Dave LaBaff from Wilkes was named Coach of the Year.
