Personal Records Fall at York Twilight

York, Pa. (April 2, 2026) - Alvernia University men's outdoor track and field saw eight personal records fall Wednesday night at York College's York Twilight meet.

Trip Freitag recorded a second place finish in the javelin with a personal best mark of 56.85m and Spencer Hahn finished in third place in the 800m with a time of 1:55.74. Christian Medina posted a fifth place finish in the shot put with a 14.70m mark and also recorded a ninth place finish in the discus.

Grant Sharp posted two PR's Wednesday night and tallied a personal best mark of 37.44m in the hammer throw and a personal record in the discus throw 38.58m to take 13th. Andrew Simmons bested his personal best in the 100m dash with a time of 22.67 and took ninth and Connor Perez bested his personal best time in the 400m hurdles by almost five seconds with a time of 59.66.

Justin Hartline recorded a PR time of 55.26 in the 400m, Quinn Harter posted a 5.54m mark in the long jump to best his personal best mark and Ryan Dennison rounded out the Golden Wolves with personal best times or marks with a 4:26.02 time in the 1,500m to best his personal best time by four seconds.

The Golden Wolves are back in action next weekend when they travel to Messiah for the three day Messiah Invitational on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
