Alvernia Wraps Up Regular Season at Shippensburg

Shippensburg, Pa. (April 25, 2026) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field wrapped up regular season competition at the Shippensburg University Paul Kaiser Invitational on Saturday.

Alvernia posted three top-ten finishes and a new personal-record in its final competition before next weekend's MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

Spencer Hahn was Alvernia's top-finisher of the day, taking third place in the field of 64 runners in the 800m. Hahn posted a season-best time of 1:55.17 to take third place. Andrew Simmons and Ryan Dennison joined Hahn with top-ten finishes. Dennison took 9th in the 5,000m with a time of 16:23.32. Simmons took 9th in the 100m with a time of 11.24 seconds. Simmons also took 12th in the 200m with a time of 22.73 seconds.

Aidan Arnold posted a new personal-record for Alvernia with a mark of 36.35 meters in the hammer throw.

Alvernia is back on the track beginning on Thursday for the 2026 Outdoor MAC Track and Field Championship at Messiah University.
