Carlisle, Pa. (September 6, 2026) - Alvernia University's Brody Calle fired in a low round of 70 to lead the Golden Wolves on day one of the Dickinson Invitational Sunday at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club. 

Alvernia's team score of 293 also breaks a program record. The Golden Wolves last recorded a team score of 294 in October of 2024 at the Mason-Dixon Classic at Waynesboro Country Club. 

Calle's two under round of 70 led the way for Alvernia in round one which saw all five of the players on Alvernia's Maroon team post scores in the 70's. 

Calle recorded a two under 34 on the front nine and carded birdies at three and eight with pars the rest of the way. Calle then carded an even par 36 on the back nine with nine straight pars to fire in the round of 70. 

Miyeon Kim recorded a one over round of 73 in round one and posted an even par 36 on the front nine. After a bogey at the fourth he bounced back with a birdie at the fifth before going on to shoot a 37 on the back nine en route to the 73. 

Quinlan Hood, Zachary Neuin and Matthew Overholt all posted rounds of 75 on Sunday. Hood posted a one over 37 on the front before a two over 38 on the back nine. Overholt carded a one under 35 on the front nine with three birdies but then posted a 40 on the back nine. Neuin tallied an even par 36 on the front nine and a three over 39 on the back. 

Chase Smith recorded a score of 78 after a 37 on the front nine but carded a 41 on the back. 

Gabe Arick followed Smith with a 79 after carding a two over 38 on the back nine after a 41 on the front. 

Matt Gagliardi fired in a round of 80 after posting scores of 40 on the front and back nine and Chase Carr and Austen Brazeau both carded rounds of 82 in round one. 

The Golden Wolves are back in action tomorrow for round two of the Dickinson Invitational.
