Tara Walls (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) in a 23-19 win Tuesday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action at Schlager Memorial Field.
Alvernia took an 8-4 lead on Walls' third of the game with eight minutes left in the first half, but after Sippel's fourth of the day gave Alvernia a 9-5 lead, Neumann scored five straight and six of the last seven goals of the half to take an 11-10 lead at the break. Junior midfielder
Gabby D'Ambrosio (Mount Laurel, N.J./Holy Cross) scored two of her game-high eight goals during the final 5:15 of the half.
Alvernia opened the second half with two goals to take a 12-11 lead, but Neumann answered with three straight to regain the lead at 14-12. Walls then scored unassisted and tallied her sixth of the day after two from Alvernia senior
McKenna Shafer (Delran, N.J./Cinnaminson) to give the Crusaders a 16-14 lead with just under 20 minutes to play.

Colleen Finnegan (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River), who finished with six goals for the Knights, scored three during a 5-0 stretch that gave the guests a19-16 lead with 10:56 to go.
Alvernia trimmed that gap to one at 19-18 and 20-19, but Neumann scored the final three goals of the game in the last 6:22 to earn the win.
Alvernia will travel to Wilkes University on Thursday for a non-conference game.
