Allentown, Pa. (Apr. 21, 2008) – Alvernia College senior McKenna Shafer (Delran, N.J./Cinnaminson) and freshman Felicia Sippel (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) score four goals apiece, but Moravian College scored 12 in the first half and 13 in the second in a 25-10 win over Alvernia Monday afternoon in non-conference women's lacrosse action at Moravian.

Senior Katie O'Brien (Boothwyn, Pa./Garnet Valley) scored the other two goals for Alvernia which got two saves from starting goalie Amanda Odenwalt (Lancaster, Pa./The Janus School) and 14 from Janelle Fulmer (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus).

Moravian got goals from 10 of 11 starting field players led by five from Erika Spatz. Alvernia will conclude the season hosting Misericordia on Wednesday.
