Sippel Scores Three Again For Crusaders

Radnor, Pa. (Apr. 5, 2008) – Cabrini College scored the first 10 goals of the game in the first 10 minutes and held a 14-2 halftime lead en route to a 19-9 win over Alvernia College Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action at Cabrini.

Alvernia freshman Felicia Sippel (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert) led the Crusaders (1-7, 1-3 PAC) with three goals. She has scored three or more goals in six straight games. McKenna Shafer (Delran, N.J./Cinnaminson) and Tara Walls (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) both added two goals apiece. Five different players scored three goals each for the Cavaliers.

Junior Janelle Fulmer (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) made nine saves in the first half and sophomore Amanda Odenwalt (Lancaster, Pa./The Janus School) saved three shots in the second half.

Alvernia will host Marywood University on Tuesday.
