Rosemont, Pa. (October 19, 2008) – Building a 10-0 lead well into the second half, Alvernia College steamrolled over Rosemont College by a final score of 12-1. Nine different Crusaders scored, including sophomore Janelle Lynch (Macungie, Pa./Brandywine Heights), senior Lynsey Treadwell (Farmingdale, NJ/Howell), and freshman Kaitlin Prutzman (Hamburg, Pa./Hamburg Area) who each scored 2 goals.

Alvernia peppered Rosemont goalie Adriann Demchenko with 51 shots, connecting on 12 of them, as Demchenko saved another 35. Meanwhile, junior Alvernia goalie Audrey Hoffman faced a mere 2 shots, saving 1. Alvernia also dominated in penalty corners, with a 14-0 advantage.
