Tim Marcinek (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle) will join graduating goalkeeper
Richard Kessler (Reading, Pa./Reading) on the newly formed FC Reading Revolution.
Davidheiser was named to the All-Freedom First Team and was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week three times. He led the Crusaders with nine goals and already sits at fifth all-time with 21 career goals. Lush had a break-out junior campaign that saw him start all 19 games for Alvernia and tally six goals and five assists. Marcinek has been a four-year starter for the Crusaders as a defender and midfielder. He has seven career goals and eight assists, while being named to the All-PAC Second Team his junior year.
The home opener for the Reading Revolution will be on Saturday, May 16 vs. Buffalo City FC at 7:00 pm. Gates will open at 6:00 pm. The 2009 FC Reading Revolution team will play in the NPSL Northern Region's Keystone Conference. This highly competitive league will include, but is not limited to National Team, former and current University and College, foreign, amateur, former professional and youth players. The FC Revolution will be coached by Mike Moyer who was recently inducted into the Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, and has coached at almost every domestic level, including two stints in United States Olympic Festivals. The FC Revolution will play its home games at Albright College's recently renovated Shirk Stadium, in Reading.
