Center Valley, Pa. (Mar. 24, 2010) - DeSales University (2-4, 1-0) used a strong one-two punch for a 21-1 win over Alvernia University (3-4, 0-1) Wednesday afternoon in Middle Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at DeSales.

Kevin Walker and Whit Bruemmer scored the first three goals of the game and combined for 13 tallies to lead DeSales to a 21-0 lead through three-plus quarters.  Alvernia sophomore Dan Hofstetter (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) scored assisted by Chris Bakes (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) midway through the fourth quarter.

Sophomore goalie Kevin Shupp (Cranford, N.Y./Cranford) went the distance for the Crusaders and made 18 saves.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule at Manhattanville on Saturday.
