Elizabethtown, Pa. (April 14, 2010) - Elizabethtown College (8-2, 6-0) stayed undefeated in conference play with an 18-2 win over Alvernia University (3-9, 0-6) Wednesday afternoon in Middle Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at Etown.

The Blue Jays opened up a 7-0 lead after the first quarter and took a 14-1 lead into the halftime break.  The score was 18-2 after the third with no scoring in the final quarter.

Alvernia freshmen Jarrod Wiedow (Flanders, N.J./Morristown Catholic) and Robert Finnegan (Newark, Del./St. Mark's) both scored a goal for the Crusaders.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule hosting Lycoming College on Saturday.
