Reading, Pa. (April 27, 2010) - Messiah College (8-6, 6-3) jumped out to a 16-0 lead at halftime and cruised to a 24-1 victory over Alvernia University (4-12, 1-7) Tuesday evening in Middle Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at Schlager Memorial Field.

Jake Buzby (Cochranville, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) scored the unassisted tally for the Crusaders in the fourth quarter.  Dan Baker (Wilmington, Del./Concord) made seven saves in net for the Crusaders.

Alvernia will complete the season schedule Saturday hosting Misericordia.
