Brian Ray (Cranford, NJ/Cranford) as they fell at Lycoming (3-5, 2-1 MAC) this afternoon in conference action.
The Lycoming Warriors took the prompt 3-0 lead with three goals in the first quarter and added another with less than five minutes left in the second quarter for the 4-0 lead. Alvernia answered with Ray's first goal of the day to close the gap to 4-1, but Lycoming regained the four goal lead less than two minutes later with their fifth goal for the 5-1 lead heading into the half.
The Warriors knotched their sixth goal with ten minutes left in the third quarter, and Ray answered back with his second goal of the day with just 41 seconds left in the third quarter to bring Alvernia within four (6-2). Lycoming again answered almost immediately with their seventh goal as the clock struck zero in the third quarter. A final goal in the fourth quarter gave the Warriors the 8-2 victory.

Kevin Shupp (Cranford, NJ/Cranford) played the full 60 minutes while tallying 16 saves. The Crusaders return to action on April 6th when they take on Elizabethtown at home in another MAC match-up.
