The Spartans scored the first goals of the game before Alvernia junior Alyssa Verrillo (North Wales, Pa./Archbishop Wood) put the Crusaders on the board with her first of five goals on the afternoon.  She recorded a hat trick in the first half--the 25th hat trick of her career.  Senior Sarah George (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) scored the final goal of the half sending the Crusaders to the break down 14-4.

York scored two of the first three goals in the second half before the Crusaders were able to put together a streak of four straight.  Verrillo and George tallied the first two and Tonya Rutt (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) and Nora Walsh (Hatfield, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) finished the run.

George finished with two goals as did junior Allison Bainbridge (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove).  Vicky Kearn (Merrick, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun) and Jenn Czarnecki (Philadelphia, Pa./Saint Hubert) each played a half and combined for 11 saves.
