Reading, Pa. (Mar. 29, 2012) - Junior Alli Bainbridge (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) scored a game-high six goals including the 100th of her career leading Alvernia University (4-4) to a 20-11 win over Cabrini College (3-5) Thursday evening in non-conference women's lacrosse action at Schlager Memorial Field.

Bainbridge becomes the sixth player in school history to reach 100 career goals joining current players, senior Sarah George (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) and junior Alyssa Verrillo (North Wales, Pa./Archbishop Wood).  Senior Sam Landis (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) scored three goals Thursday and has 99 for her career.

The Crusaders scored the last nine goals of the first half to take a 16-5 lead at the break.  Bainbridge scored the final goal of the half with 40 seconds left to reach 100.  The scoring streak reached 12 straight when the Crusaders scored the first three goals of the second half.

Heather Coppola (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley) scored three for the Crusaders Thursday, George scored five--her third five-goal game of the season--and Verrillo added a pair.  Jen Czarnecki (Philadelhpia, Pa./St. Huberts) made nine saves in net for the Crusaders.
