Crusaders Close Season With 12-2 Loss To Lycoming

Reading, Pa. (Apr. 28, 2012) - Sophomore Colin Gallagher (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) and junior Dan Frantz (Lansdale, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) each scored a goal for Alvernia University (5-11, 0-6) in a 12-2 loss to Lycoming College (7-7, 4-2) in Commonwealth Conference men's lacrosse action at Schlager Memorial Field.

Lycoming had a 4-0 lead at the halftime break and the teams traded goals in the third before the Warriors closed with six in the fourth.  Frantz scored assisted by Brian Ray (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) and Gallagher got the helper from Jon Lozoskie (Fallston, Md./Fallston).

Senior goalie Kevin Shupp (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) made 18 saves for the Crusaders.
