Glenside, Pa. (Mar. 23, 2013) - Arcadia University (3-3) scored in every quarter in an 8-4 win over Alvernia University (4-5) Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at Arcadia.

The Knights scored once in the first and three times in the second.  Alvernia answered with two goals in the second quarter to stay within two at the break, 4-2, and both teams scored twice in the third before Arcadia closed the game with two goals in the fourth quarter.

Alvernia senior Brian Ray (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) scored two of the four goals for the Crusaders and Brandon Weaver (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) made five saves.

Alvernia starts the conference schedule Thursday at Lycoming.
