Chester, Pa. (April 10, 2013) - The Crusader Men's Lacrosse team fell to host Widener College (8-3, 4-0) by a score of 20-2 this evening in Commonwealth Conference action.  Alvernia (4-9, 0-4) got both of their goals from Jared Toll (St. Catherines's, Ontario/Lewisburg Area) who netted both goals with less than five minutes left in the game.

Widener, who was ranked 18th in the latest USILA Top 20 poll, outscored Alvernia 7-0 in the opening quarter, 3-0 in the second quarter, and put up five goals in each of the last two quarters.

The Crusaders are back in action on Sat. April 13th when they travel to Hood College for another Commonwealth Conference match-up.
