Reading, Pa. (Apr. 6, 2013) - Third-ranked Stevenson University (11-1, 4-0) scored 11 times in the opening quarter and cruised to a 24-0 win over Alvernia University (4-8, 0-3) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference men's lacrosse action at Schlager Memorial Field.

The Mustangs followed with four goals in both the second and third quarters then five in the fourth.

Alvernia sophomore Brandon Weaver (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) set a new career high with 21 saves.

Alvernia returns to action on Wednesday at Widener.
