BOX SCORE Reading, Pa. (Nov. 5, 2014) - Senior Dustin Stuck scored a hat trick and added an assist to lead Alvernia University (8-2-1) to a 9-5 win over Shippensburg University Wednesday evening in Delaware Valley College Hockey Conference action at The Body Zone.

The win is the 10th straight over Ship for the Crusaders who improve to 12-1 all time vs. the Raiders.

Tony White scored the game-winner for the Crusaders--his first collegiate goal.  Jimmy McKelvie, Nico Delgiorno, and Brian Callahan added a goal each while defensman Kevin Meers also cashed in on a the score sheet with a goal from the blue line.

Goalie Mike Durofchak recorded the win making 20 saves on 25 shots.

Alvernia managed to kill off six straight minor penalties between the end of the first period and the start of the second including an extended 5-on-3 Shippensburg advantage.

The Crusaders continue the season Saturday when they host Penn State-Brandywine.
