Annville, Pa. (Apr. 2, 2014) - Lebanon Valley College (5-4, 1-2) poured in nine goals in the third quarter en route to a 23-6 win over Alvernia University (2-9, 0-3) Wednesday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference men's lacrosse action at LVC.

The Dutchmen led 6-0 after the first quarter and 10-2 at halftime before breaking it open with nine goals in the third.  Alvernia got a pair of goals from Jared Toll (St. Catherines, Ontario/Lewisburg) and a goal apiece from four other players.

Brandon Weaver (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) made 15 saves through 40 minutes.  Mikhail Gardner (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) played the final 20 minutes and made a pair of saves.

The Crusaders continue the conference schedule Saturday with a trip to Stevenson.
