BOX SCORE Reading, Pa. (Apr. 1, 2015) - Widener University (3-7, 2-1) defeated Alvernia University (3-8, 0-3) by a 17-3 final Wednesday evening in Commonwealth Conference men's lacrosse action at Widener.

The Pride scored six times in both the first and third quarters for the win.  Alvernia got two goals from Brian Schay and another from Benjamin Manning.  Mason Etier made 10 saves in net for the Crusaders.

Alvernia returns to action next Wednesday when it hosts crosstown rival Albright College.
