Dane Beilhart scored four goals to help lift Alvernia University (4-11) over Salisbury University (3-5) by a final score of 9-5 Sunday afternoon in men's ice hockey action.
The Crusaders started the first period red hot as they score the first three goals on the day. After a costly penalty late in the first, Alvernia played with a man down for the remaining five minutes. The Seagulls scored two goals to bring the score to 4-3 to end the first.
The Crusaders scored five goals in the second period to help ensure the dominating win. Alvernia was lead by Sophomore
Kevin Duggan who had one goal and two assists. Goalie
Justin Gueveraz ended the day with 37 saves.
Alvernia stays at home to play George Mason January 28th at 6:00 pm.
