Northborough, Mass. (July 26, 2023) - Alvernia University Women's Lacrosse student-athletes Lauren Fox, Jamie Inacio, and Kirsten Lake earned individual IWLCA Academic Honors, and the Women's Lacrosse Team earned Team Academic Honors, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday.

Fox, Inacio, and Lake are three of 963 student-athletes from 173 Division III institutions to be named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the honor, the student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.

The Alvernia's Women's Lacrosse team is also one of 290 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA to be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for this honor, the team must have posted a 3.20 or higher GPA team for the academic year. Alvernia posted a 3.4 team GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.
