Alvernia Goes 2-0 at First Day of AMCC Round Robin #2

Jersey City, NJ (Feb. 2, 2024) - Alvernia University went 2-0 on the first day of the AMCC Round Robin #2 at New Jersey City University on Friday to sit tied for first through the first day of competition.

Alvernia picked up an 843-717 win over LaRoche in the first game of the day and closed out the first day with a 927-717 win over Pitt Greensburg.

Of Note
  • Emily Huntley led Alvernia in both games on Friday, bowling a 194 in game one and a 202 in game two.
  • Huntley is in third overall through day one with an average of 198.
  • Morgan DuPont joins Huntley in the top ten with a first day average of 183.
  • Alvernia's 927 team score against Pitt Greensburg was the second-highest team score of the afternoon.
