Women's Round Suspended During Day One of Alvernia Invitational

Mohnton, Pa. (March 31, 2025) - The opening round of the two-day Alvernia Spring Invitational was suspended due to severe weather moving through the area on Monday evening.

Players were pulled off the course at 5:30 PM, with just one group making in through all 18 holes. The remainder of the field will resume play tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM where they left off. The second round, originally scheduled for a shotgun start at 11:00 AM, will now begin at approximately 11:30 AM.

McKylie Boreman was a member of the lone group to make it through all 18 holes. She posted a 2-over 74 on the day, draining a birdie putt on the 18th as the rain began to fall.

Katie Lapinsky was in the 18th fairway when the horn sounded and is 5-over on her round. Rylee Stenzel is also 5-over through 14 holes. Cassidy Miksich is 7-over with three holes to finish, and Emmerson Bartley is 12 over with one hole to play. Paige Damon is 15-over through 12, and Autumn Wolf is 20-over through 11 holes.
