Boreman Leads Golden Wolves to Seventh Win in Last Eight Tournaments

Mohnton, Pa (April 1, 2025) - McKylie Boreman recorded her seventh low medalist honor of the season and first of the spring to lead Alvernia University to the team title at Alvernia's Spring Invitational at LedgeRock Golf Club. 

Alvernia posted a two day total of 664 (315/349) and the team victory for the Golden Wolves is their seventh win in eight total events dating back to the fall. Boreman also tallied her seventh low medalist honor in her past nine events. 

How it Happened 
  • McKylie Boreman carded a round two score of 83 to secure low medalist honors and finished with a two day total of 157(74/83). Boreman carded one birdie on the day and tallied nine pars including a stretch where she carded six pars in seven holes. Boreman's first place finish is her 26th of her career and her low medalist honor is her 22nd of her career. 
  • Katie Lapinsky recorded a sixth place finish for the Golden Wolves and finished with a two day total of 169(77/92). Lapinsky carded six pars on the day and her sixth place finish is her eighth top ten finish in her last nine events. 
  • Rylee Stenzel posted a day two score of 87 and finished in a tie for seventh after a two day total of 170(83/87). Stenzel carded birdies on holes three and 18 and tallied five pars on the day. 
  • Cassidy Miksich tallied a day two score of 90 and finished with a two day total of 171 (81/90) to finish in tenth place. Miksich carded five pars in round two and posted her third straight top ten finish of the season. 
  • Emmerson Bartley carded an 89 on day two of the invitational, she finished in 13th place with a two day total of 175 (86/89) and carded three pars on the day. 
  • Grace Spielman, Paige Damon and Autumn Wolf all played as individuals for the Golden Wolves. Spielman posted a 93 on day two of the tournament and finished in a tie for 22nd place. Spielman recorded a two day total of 187 (94/93) and she also carded five pars in round two. Damon finished in a tie for 27th place and carded a 91 on day two, which is a ten shot improvement from round one. Damon finished with a two day total of 192 (101/91) and four pars. Wolfe rounded out the scores for the Golden Wolves with a 100 on day two, 12 strokes better than yesterday. Wolf finished with a two day total of 212 (112/100) and carded two pars on the day.
