Williamsburg, Va. (May 13, 2025) - Alvernia University's round was halted due to darkness after its tee times were pushed back four hours after heavy rainfall suspended play around 10:15 AM Tuesday on day one of the 2025 NCAA DIII Women's Golf Championships at Kingsmill Resort. 

The Golden Wolves finished over half of their first round with Rylee Stenzel and Cassidy Miksich through 12 holes and Emmerson Bartley, Katie Lapinsky and McKylie Boreman finished 11 holes. Alvernia is playing The Plantation Course for their first round at the championships. 

McKylie Boreman played 11 holes on day one and currently sits at three over par and is in a tie for 18th place. Boreman carded six pars in her first 11 holes and also posted a birdie on the fourth hole. Katie Lapinsky is also through 11 holes of golf after the first day and is five over par and in a tie for 43rd. Lapinksy rolled in seven pars on the round but a few bogeys and a big number after an unfortunate lie on number two pushed her to five over. Emmerson Bartley was the final Golden Wolf to get through 11 holes and is currently nine over par and in a tie for 112th. 

Cassidy Miksich finished 12 holes on the first day of the championships and is currently ten over par. Miksich is in a tie for 121st and recorded four pars on the day. Rylee Stenzel is also through 12 holes on Tuesday and recorded a par and a birdie at the par four seventh hole. 

The Golden Wolves will resume their first round at 8:00 AM and will complete that round before heading back out to The River Course with Stenzel teeing off first for Alvernia at 12:20 PM. Below are the full list of round two tee times for the Golden Wolves.
