Kansas City, Mo (August 4, 2025) - Alvernia University Men's and Women's Soccer teams received Team Academic Awards for their performances in the classroom during the 2024-2025 school year as announced by the United Soccer Coaches (USC). 

Alvernia Women's Soccer received the recognition with a 3.51 team GPA in the fall and spring semesters. Men's Soccer recorded a 3.47 GPA during the 2024-2025 academic year to earn their spot on the award list. 

A total of 740 soccer teams (303 men, 437 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 168 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
