Solley Named MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week

Reading, Pa. (Sep. 2, 2025) - Alvernia University graduate student Evan Solley was named the MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for his performance during the opening weekend of action.

Evan Solley made seven sevens in a scoreless draw against Muhlenberg to open the 2025 season. Solley then made two saves in a 3-1 loss to Arcadia on Sunday. The Knights were awarded two penalty kicks in the contest - Solley saved this first and the Knights were able to score off the immediate rebound. They successfully converted the second PK and Solley allowed just one goal in open-play.

Men's Soccer is back in action on Wednesday at Lancaster Bible.
