Four Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

New Orleans, LA (March 12, 2026) - Four Alvernia Track and Field earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors for their performances during the 2025-2026 Indoor Track and Field season, as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). 

The USTFCCCA honors the top eight individuals in each event in each region with All-Region distinction. Alvernia's 2025-2026 honorees were Britney Anyia in the high jump, long jump, and pentathlon, Mylina Castillo in the long jump, Christian Medina in shot put, and JT Timmons in the high jump.

Britney Anyia finished sixth in the region in the long jump with a season-best mark of 5.50 meters. She finished seventh in the pentathlon with 2,872 points at the MAC Championship, and also finished seventh in the region in the high jump with a mark of 1.60 meters. Mylina Castillo finished third in the region in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 11.19 meters. 

On the men's side, both Christian Medina and JT Timmons finished seventh in their respective events. Timmons had a season-best mark of 1.91 meters in the high jump, and Medina had a season-best mark of 15.22 meters in the shot put.

Alvernia's outdoor season begins on March 20th in Virginia Beach at Virginia Wesleyan.
