Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida (May 10, 2026) - Alvernia Men's Golf senior Shawn Williams was named a GCAA NCAA Division III Ping All-Region honoree, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Sunday night at the NCAA Division III Championship Banquet.

Williams was named a PING All-Region honoree for Region III.

Williams finished the 2025-26 season with a 75.8 average over 21 rounds played. He had a season-low round of 71 at day one of the Golden Oaks Shootout back in October. During the season, Williams finished with seven top-ten finishes and six top-three finishes. He also had two first place finishes and one low-medalist honor. Williams took 14th at this year's MAC Commonwealth Championship. He finished his senior season with two eagles, 42 birdies, and 225 pars.
