Hoboken, NJ (March 2, 2021) - Alvernia Wrestling continued its 2021 season on Tuesday afternoon on the road at Stevens. No team score was kept, but 11 Golden Wolves wrestled for results toward their individual records.

Kyle Seibert (125), Gavin Hollingsworth (157), Ian McCabe (165), Matthew Lackman (174), and Isaac Kasis (184) each picked up a win for the Golden Wolves.

In the opening bout of the afternoon, Kyle Seibert won a 7-5 decision over Andrew Finateri.

After losing his first match of the day in a 7-2 decision, Gavin Hollingsworth rebounded with a 10-1 major decision win over Jonah Schechtman.

Ian McCabe, wrestling at 165, was pinned in his first match of the day, but he also came back with a 5-3 win over Jarrett Weir in his second bout of the afternoon.

Matthew Lackman, wrestling at 174,  went 1-0 on the afternoon with a 5-0 decision over Joel Martsinovsky.

Isaac Kasis also went 1-0 on the afternoon after picking up a 8-2 decision over Nico Ziccardi in a 184 bout.

Alvernia returns to the mat on Saturday when the Golden Wolves host Messiah at 11:00 AM.
