Lebanon, Pa. (April 16, 2021) - Senior Kyung Chung shot a 6-over 78 to finish t-6th and pace Alvernia to a third place finish with a team score 323 at the MAC Preview, hosted at Iron Valley Golf Club. 

Chung finished with four pars on the front nine, and after starting with a bogey on the back nine he went on a run of par-birdie-par. He made a two on the par 3 12th. Chung finished with two more pars on the back nine to finish at 6-over 78.

Luke Fagley finished one stroke back of Chung for a round of 79 and a t-9th finish. After a 7-over on the front nine, Fagley recovered nicely for an even 36 on the back nine. He started off with a bogey on ten, followed by a par on 11. He then shot a birdie on the par 3 12th and finished with six straight pars to finish out his round of 79.

Jake Duffy finished third for Alvernia and t-14th overall with a round of 81. Jack Lynam rounded out Alvernia's counting scores with a round of 85 for a t-19th finish.

Joe Polidoro finished with a round of 88 and Tyler Cebular finished with a 91

Matt Chalupa of York finished first with an even round of 72. York also took first place as a team with a score of 302.

Iron Valley Golf Club is the site of this year's MAC Men's Golf Championship, which is set for April 24th and 25th.

Alvernia has a quick turnaround and will compete at Arcadia University's Golden Oaks Shootout tomorrow.
