Fleetwood, Pa. (April 17, 2021) - Senior Kyung Chung and sophomore Jack Lynam both finished t-7th to lead Alvernia University to a third place team finish at the Golden Oaks Shootout, hosted by Arcadia University at Golden Oaks Golf Club. 

Chung and Lynam both shot a 4-over 76 to pace Alvernia to 309 finish.

Chung started his day off with a par on the par 4 first. He then birdied the par 4 second before firing two more pars on the third and fourth holes. He then birdied the par 5 5th. He shot 1-over the rest of the way to finish the front nine with a 1-under 35. Chung birdied 10, but shot 5-over the rest of the way for his round of 76.

Lynam started his day off with two pars, before hitting a bogey on three. He then pared the next four before shooting a birdie on the par 5 8th. He then pared the par 3 9th to finish even on the front nine. Lynam shot five pars on the back nine and finished off his round with a birdie on the par 5 18th.

Luke Fagley finished third for Alvernia and 12th overall with a round of 78. Fagley closed out his round with a birdie on the par 5 18th.

Rounding out the counting scores for Alvernia was Jake Duffy with a round of 79.

Joe Polidoro finished with a round of 83, and Tyler Cebular finished with a round of 93.
