Staten Island, NY (Dec. 2, 2022) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field opened its 2022-23 indoor campaign on Friday, with the Golden Wolves competing at the Fastrack Season Opener on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility.

Elisiah Jerome and Kevin Kazokas each competed in three events to lead Alvernia's showing at Fastrack.

Jerome finished 19th in the 60m with a time of 7:38, and took 17th in the 500m with a time of 1:12.09.  He rounded out his day with a 29th place finish in the 200m. 

Kazokas also competed in the 60m and 200m alongside Jerome. Kazokas finished 30th in the 60m with a time of 8:04, and 47th in the 200m with a time of 244.78. He rounded out his day with a 29th place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.17m.

Alvernia has over a month off for winter break before returning to action on January 14th at home as Alvernia hosts its Winter Invite.
