East Stroudsburg, Pa. (Jan. 28, 2024) - Alvernia Women's Wrestling had three podium finishes on Sunday at the Pennsylvania Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship at East Stroudsburg University.

The championship consisted of the eight colleges in the state of Pennsylvania that sponsor women's wrestling. 

The host Warriors won the Championship and Lock Haven University took second.

Highlights:

• Alvernia had three podium finishes on Sunday. 
• Nevaeh Blevins took fifth place at 101 lbs and secured the 5th place finish with a pin in 2:06 against Lauren Jackson of Cedar Crest
• Abbigail Kohl took fifth place after nearly wrestling into the 3rd place match. But, Kohl took 5th with a win by injury default of ESU's Gianna Amendola. Kohl had four wins on the afternoon with three pins.
• Grace Molloy took 6th at 109 lbs and finished just shy of fifth place after falling by a 7-2 decision to Leilani Martinez of Cedar Crest.
