Gaston and Hahn Lead Alvernia at Final Day of AARTFC Championship

Rochester, NY (March 2, 2024) - Alvernia Men's and Women's Track and Field had three top-15 finishes and a program record on the final day of the AARTFC Championship on Saturday at Nazareth University.

Cera Gaston led the Golden Wolves on Saturday with a sixth place finish in the 3,000m with a time of 10:22.12. Her time marked a new program record, bettering the record Gaston set of 10:31.01 Gaston set earlier this season at Bucknell.

Elisabeth Schwarz took 14th in the 200m with a time of 26.98 seconds and Spencer Hahn took 13th in the 800m with a time of 1:59.09. Anthony Downs also competed for Alvernia on Saturday and took 21st in the 200m with a time of 23.03.
