St.Pierre Breaks Record, Leads Golden Wolves at MAC Championships

Chester, Pa (May 3, 2024) - Luke St.Pierre broke his own 400m record and the 4x100m relay team also broke their own record to lead Alvernia University on day two of the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday at Widener University. 

The men's 4x100m relay team of Jack Short, Elisah Jerome, Anthony Downs and Luke St.Pierre also qualified for the finals with a 42.52 time which set a new school record. 

St.Pierre also advanced to the finals with a program record time of 49.28 in the 400m. St.Pierre broke his own record of 49.60 that he set on April 20th. 

Brandon VanSchaick advanced to the finals in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.96 and Anthony Downs also advanced to the finals with a 11.20 time in the 100m. 

Spencer Hahn moved onto the finals in the 800m with a time of 1:54.14 and Jack Short posted a top ten finish in the 100m with a time of 11.22 and a ninth place finish. 

The Golden Wolves are back at it tomorrow for the final day of the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Widener University.
