Reading, Pa. (Feb. 1, 2025) - Alvernia University Women's Track and Field posted four top-eight finishes and six new personal records on Saturday at home as the Golden Wolves took on the PLEX Shootout at the Alvernia Tom and Helen Flynn PLEX.

Caitlin Sternberg was Alvernia's top-finisher on Saturday with a second place finish in the 60m hurdles. Sternberg took second with a time of 9.82 seconds.

Both Britney Anyia and Elisabeth Schwarz took third for the Golden Wolves on Saturday. Anyia took third in the long jump with a mark of 4.95m, and Schwarz took third in the 60m with a time of 8.17 seconds. Giavanni Gibson was Alvernia's final top-eight finisher, taking sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.39 seconds.

Samantha Wallace posted two personal-records on Saturday. Wallace ran a 29.88 in the 200m, and a 8.88 in the 60m to set two new PRs.

Al'liyah McCloud set a new personal-record in the 200m with a time of 29.74, and Maria Skulski set a new personal-record in the shot put with a mark of 8.22m. Mikayla Giuliano rounded out the personal-records with a mark of 11.55m in the weight throw.

Alvernia is back in action on Friday night at the Susquehanna Riverhawk Showdown.
