Golden Wolves Take on Danny Curran Invitational

Chester, Pa. (March 29, 2025) - Alvernia Men's Track and Field had one first place finish and seven personal records fall at the 2025 Danny Curran Invitational on Saturday at Widener University.

Spencer Hahn led Alvernia with a first place finish and program and personal record time in the 800m with a time of 1:52.86, shaving just under a half of a second off of his previous outdoor personal and program record.

Ryan Dennison took 47th in the 10,000m with a time of 34:19.83, taking two and a half minutes off of his previous personal best. James Henry took 52nd in the 5,000m with a new personal record time of 15:46.74, just under a minute improvement from his entering personal record.

Anthony Downs led Alvernia in the 200m with a time of 23.40, and Ethan Marcin set a new personal record in the 200m with a time of 24.17. Luke St. Pierre was Alvernia's top finisher in the 400m with a time of 49.73, just a half second off of his personal record.

In the field, Andrew LeClair was Alvernia top-finisher with a 24th place finish in the triple jump off a mark of 11.59m. Joel Thomas posted a new outdoor personal record in the long jump with a mark of 5.52m.

Alvernia is back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Millersville Metrics.
