Alvernia Competes at Widener's Danny Curran Invitational

Chester, Pa. (March 29, 2025) - Alvernia Women's Track and Field posted five new personal records on Saturday at the 2025 Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener University. 

Isabella Lesko took tenth place in the javelin with a mark of 32.84. She also posted a new personal record in the shot put with a mark of 8.58m.

Britney Anyia took eighth in the high jump with a personal record mark of 1.50m to finish as Alvernia's other top-ten finisher alongside Lesko. 

On the track, Caitlin Sternberg was Alvernia's top finisher with a 12th place time of 1:10.87 in the 400m hurdles. Paige Jerrahian took 23rd in the 800m with a new personal record time of 2:26.51. 

Al'liyah McCloud took 49th in the 100m with a time of 13.99 seconds, and Samantha Wallace set a new personal record in the same event with a time of 14.22 seconds. Wallace also had a personal record in the 200m with a time of 29.05. 

Alvernia is back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Millersville Metrics.
