Hahn Leads Alvernia at 2025 AARTFC Indoor Championship

Ithaca, NY (March 8, 2025) - Alvernia University Men's Track and Field closed out the indoor season this weekend at the AARTFC Indoor Track and Field Championship, hosted at Ithaca College.

Spencer Hahn led Alvernia's contingent at Ithaca. Hahn took eighth in the 800m, breaking his own program record with a time of 1:55.10. His 1:55.10 on Saturday bettered his previous personal and program record of 1:55.68 set at the 2024 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship.

Alvernia also took 13th in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:33.12. The 4x200m team was made up of Anthony Downs, Andrew Simmons, Leo Tirado, and Caleb Auzenne as the anchor.

In the field, Leo Tirado took 12th in the high jump with a mark of 1.88m, and Joel Thomas took 12th in the long jump with a mark of 6.52m.

Alvernia has a few weeks off before the outdoor season gets underway on March 22nd at West Chester.
