Hahn Leads Alvernia at Winter Invite

Reading, Pa. (Jan. 20, 2024) - Alvernia University returned to action on Saturday hosting its first home invitational of the season with the Alvernia Winter Invite.

Alvernia had five top-ten finishes, with Spencer Hahn and the 4x400m relay team leading the way the third place finishes each. Alvernia also had seven new season bests personal records.

Highlights

The Men's 4x400 relay team - made up of Elisiah Jerome, Younes Naimi, Sam Martinez, and Spencer Hahn, took third place with a time of 3:42.40
Hahn also took third place in the 800m with a time of 2:009.
Kyle Schermerhorn took fifth in the mile with a time of 4:37.3. Schermerhorn also took tenth in the 3,000m with a time of 9:20.6
Anthony Downs took 10th in the 60m with a time of 7.3 seconds
