Golden Wolves Take On Susquehanna Tune-Up

Selinsgrove, Pa. (Feb. 17, 2024) - Alvernia University Men's Track and Field made the trip to Susquehanna on Saturday to compete at the Susquehanna Tune-Up prior to the MAC Championship next weekend.

Alvernia had six top-eight finishes on Saturday, including two top-two finishes. The Golden Wolves also had seven new personal records set.

Highlights

Kyle Schermerhorn took second place in the 3,000m with a personal record time of 9:12.75.
The Men's 4x400m relay set a new season best time of 3:38.55 en route to a second place finish.
Alexander Witmer took third in the shot put with a mark of 14.20m.
Jake Ziegler and Kevin Kozakas went 7th/8th in the long jump. Ziegler tied his season best mark with a jump of 6.10m and Kazokas took eighth with a mark of 5.96m.
Kameron Dove took fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.82m.
