Hall of Fame
Daimen Hunter entered the Hall of Fame third all-time on the scoring list at Alvernia with 2,242 points, second all-time in points per game (20.4). He holds the school record for free throw attempts (619) and steals (218) and his 52 free throws made in the 1997 NCAA Tournament still stands, as of his induction, as the individual record for free throws made in a tournament.
Hunter earned a number of individual accolades. He was the 1995 ECAC South Rookie of the Year and the 1997 Dick Vitale Preseason Division III Player of the Year. He followed that up with his first of two straight PAC Player of the Year awards. He was named to the 1997 All-American First Team and the Columbus Multimedia Mid-Atlantic and National Player of the Year.
