Hall of Fame
Zach Straining was a two-time All-PAC player. He was named to the First Team in 2005 and 2006, claiming Player of the Year accolades in 2006. Straining ranks in the top-10 in seven categories in the Crusaders’ record book. He is third in rebounds with 684, sixth in free throw attempts with 437, and eighth in steals with 143. Straining is ninth all-time in free throws made, and assists. Straining also claimed a spot with fellow inductee Carolina in the 1,000 points club, ranking 10th with 1,330 points.
Following graduation, Straining worked at the Neiman Group in the accounting department as an Accounting Assistant. He also entered the coaching fraternity, working with the JV basketball program for Palmyra High School. From there, Straining accepted a position with the Republican Party of Pennsylvania assisting the comptroller. He is currently working for the Department of Revenue as a Tax Examiner.
